//Power of attorney

Unlike a mandate of protection in case of incapacity, a power of attorney allows you to name someone who will represent you and who will sign documents in your place in case you can’t be present physically.

THE big difference is that a power of attorney is used when you are still mentally apt and capable but not present, while a mandate of protection in case of incapacity is used only if you’ve become incapable and can’t take your own decisions. It is possible to combine both the power of attorney and the mandate of protection in case of incapacity, in one single document. Contact me to know more!
